Nigeria Needs Redefinition - Morah Emmanuel

“Nigeria Needs Redefinition. It is now of record that Nigeria’s Economy has broken lots of economic principles. Only Nigeria can price overnight plunge 150% up, meaning economic system collapse but still exist through few propaganda of administrators and a people already defined as "Suffering and Smiling" by Nigeria's most famous musical legend - Fela Anikulapo-Kuti”.

Due to persistent Fuel scarcity, pump attendants at filling stations are now of the habit of imposing #500 fee for filling of tank after queuing for almost four hours. This is corruption caused by the inability of the management of our petroleum resources to provide adequate Fuel for the people. With earlier report from Lagos, Nigeria indicates there’s enough fuel at the deport, challenges of distribution has been earmarked as the majos cause of this scarcity. To my understanding of what’s right, when something ain’t working adequately, then you improvise or perform total overhauling of the distribution system.

Getting Fuel for vehicles has become a whole Affairs, wasted human capital resources, and total exploitation of the people. Do we allow this to continue, suffering and smiling? Hardship to everyone? Our salaries are fixed, why then should our administrators make us come to with increase in transport fairs, longest Fuel queues and no electricity supply?

We are in dare need of total transfiguration of this country called Nigeria. Where even our National athem seems like a curse to the world we live in, our infrastructure depreciate without maintenance.

Let us pause to think. Are we a progressive nation or one whose citizens are continuously pushed around by the Leaders who private aim is to send our resources abroad instead of investing it internally.

Prayer for Nigeria should continue as we are yet to begin our redefinition of oneness through purpose and achieve true change.
