"Seven Things Buhari/Osinbajo will do" - APC Campaign team
"Chess-Master 2015, said "Decisions have consequences", he is right.
Professor Yemi Osinbajo, a non-executive member of the famous Citi-group is now Nigeria's Vice-President, The VP was one of the Speakers for Poju Oyemade's May 1st workers' day jaw-jaw in Abuja under The PLATFORM at the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) International Conference Centre, Jahi. The Vice President in that event narrated a journey he had with the President Muhammadu Buhari during the recently concluded political campaigns. Inside the car, the VP was asked, "What can you see on their faces?" Excitement! the VP replied. "No.", PMB told him, "Look again?" he urge, and again the VP replied "They are happy, that's why they are shouting "sey Baba! sey Chanji.". And again PMB says, "No, What is on their faces is that they expect us to solve all their problems in two (2) days when we come in!"
It was from this background that Professor Osinbajo, Vice President Federal Republic of Nigeria began his talk, "This Country needs immediate fixing... With change comes very high expectation... Nigeria needs one stop shop as solution point... Our people are completely cut off from the main stream of governance."
The VP sure knows this country and fervently believes that the creation and management of industrial parks, technological parks/gardens and righting the wrongs in the entertainment industry as well as protecting copyrights will be his focus. Aside his personal inclination, the present government promise to deliver on 7(seven) key issues during their campaigns. In what it called "Seven Things Buhari/Osinbajo will do" the APC campaign team categorically placed:
- the creation of 740,000 jobs within the first one year, graduates will be paid stipends for 1year under a vocational scheme where they will be trained on entrepreneurial and work place readiness.
- It said it will provide Universal Basic Healthcare with N500 naira annual contribution per family in the National Health Insurance Scheme(NHIS) while "APC Government pays the balance.
- Among other things the campaign promise of one meal a day for children in public primary schools while their parents are to receive monthly direct cash transfer of NGN5,000 to "25 million poorest and most vulnerable citizens, if they immunize children and enroll them in school"
- The government, it said will generate, transmit and distribute electricity on a 24/7 basis whilst simultaneously ensuring the development of sustainable/renewable energy by 2019.
- lastly, the campaign promises Nigerians if brought to power, "will embark on a National Infrastructural Development Programme as a public private partnership that will ensure 5,000km of superhighway including service trunks
- as well as building of up to 6,800km of modern railway to be completed in 2019
- and the completion of commercial airports in all the 36 states.
The promise indeed is great and between Professor Yemi Osinbajo and President Muhammadu Buhari is packed the dynamite that will either bloom or burst.
Please this is not another 7-Points Agenda, we mean 7 Key Issues! Can you spot the difference?
We hope that this decision works for the good of all.

DidItMakeTheNEWS - BACKLASH
"Genreal Muhammadu Buhari once ruled Nigeria for 20 months (January 1984-August 1985). It was such a short time that he appeared not to have fully understood Nigeria and it's people. In contrast, he's successor, General Ibrahim Babangida, who ruled for 8 years, once boasted that he knows Nigeria very well.
Buhari's lack of knowledge about Nigerians have been demonstrated in his reaction to the Presidential election which he lost to Olusegun Obasanjo. Thundering (Mass action) and anarchy come 29 may, Buhari expected aggrieved politicians to rally round him and heed his clarion call to war. but he must have been sharply disappointed.
His sabre-rattling is being ignored even by his fellow party members who insist that the law must be followed and denounced his call for Mass Action. leaders of other parties who initially backed Buahri's stance have also a volte face. No one wants trouble. Nigeria must move forward.
Buahri is being told to embark on his mass action all alone. No Governor or representative it seems, wants to risk losing his seat in the possible anarchy or military interventions that may follow Buhari's mass action.
The mood of the nation seems to be, "let's accept the result of the election, warts and all." let's move on despite proven fraud. What a Country! What a people!" - TheNEWS Vol. 20 No. 19
In 2003, Buhari was left all alone to his machinations, the present state of the 8th National Assembly and his Inaugural statement " I am for Everybody, I am for Nobody" pres-supposes a lone-ranger approach to ending all grievance, Will it be a mother of all Mass Action" a rambo style now that he is in Power?

APC 2015 - Our Vision For A New Nigeria
APC Manifesto
When this democratic dispensation commenced in 1999, the federal government that emerged did not tell Nigerians what its vision was for the country; because the party that formed the government had none. And without a vision, that party at the centre has led Nigeria from one crisis to another, lurching deeper into political anarchy, economic decline and social disillusionment. A decade and a half later, nothing has changed. That ruling party has neither concrete plans for the security and advancement of Nigerians, nor the wherewithal to do so even if it had one. Suffice to say that it had thrived on the maxim; Promise nothing, do nothing.
The consequence of trusting power to a party that does not have the genuine interest of Nigeria and Nigerians are clearly manifest in our political and economic predicament today; tens of thousands of innocent Nigerians have been killed due to government neglect of security; poverty and unemployment have multiplied due to the perverse economic policies; corruption has been taken to new levels while health, education and job opportunities are all in free falls, the question on the lips of most Nigerians is: is there a federal government in Nigeria?
Yes, there is a federal government in Nigeria. A government that thrives on chaos, corruption, impunity, injustice and the systematic exploitation of ethnicity, religious sentiments and other primal instincts to divide and rule Nigeria. It is no wonder that at no time since the period of the Civil War have ethnic and regional sentiments been as raw as they currently are. Nigeria can, and must do better.
Since the historic merger that resulted in the birth of the All Progressives Congress, APC in July 2013, our intention has been to develop a set of guiding principles based on the needs of all Nigerians on how to collectively chart our future as a people and our destiny as a nation.
I am pleased to present this manifesto and invite you to share our perspective on how we can come together to free our country from the grip of the ruling party that clearly has no agenda for Nigeria beyond prolonging its lawless rule by all means.
In the past, political Manifestos in Nigeria were hardly different from mere platitudes and general statements to which parties could not be held accountable. The APC Manifesto is different. We have clearly stated what we will deliver to Nigeria when elected into office. Our focus is on six priority areas: National Security, Good Governance, Human Capital Development, Economic Development, Land and Natural Resources and Foreign Policy.
The APC Manifesto goes beyond broad proclamations. For each sector, we have articulated clear policy directions and accompanying strategies to indicate how our vision will be implemented. In addition to securing the territorial integrity of Nigeria, our plan for national security includes development of the capacity, capability and welfare of our security forces, with clear public accountability frameworks and the promotion of peaceful co-existence among all Nigerians.
The decay in Nigeria’s political and economic structures can be traced to poor governance and dysfunctional public administration. APC promises free and fair elections at all levels, respect for the rule of law, promotion of transparency genuine anti-corruption measures. We will implement efficient public financial management strategies and ensure true federalism.
In order to fulfil our social commitment to Nigerians, the building blocks for our human development plan will be implemented through coherent health, education and social welfare policies. APC will therefore promote a healthy lifestyle, availability of balanced nutrition and preventive and curative healthcare. We pledge to ensure the availability of quality education at all levels and strive to create a pool of skilled Nigerians that will form the bedrock of our economic development agenda. The manifesto also details our plans for youth development, sports and the entertainment industry, in addition to the provision of a sustainable social safety net beginning with the most vulnerable Nigerians.
Our manifesto also includes policies and strategies to reverse Nigeria’s economic decline by ensuring sound macroeconomic management and accelerated infrastructure development, especially in the areas of electric power supply and transportation. We will implement fiscal reforms that would build the economy from the bottom up – one small business at a time.
Moreover, the APC manifesto plainly spells out our plan for Nigeria’s land and natural resources including computerization of our respective land registries, providing affordable shelter for all Nigerians, promotion of agriculture, development of oil and gas, solid minerals, provision of water and sanitation facilities as well as protecting our environment from the threat of gully erosion, desertification, global warming and rising sea levels.
Finally, APC believes that with Africa’s largest population and economy, Nigeria ought to play a leading role in regional, continental and global affairs. Our party will therefore make the Nigerian interest the overriding factor in its foreign relations engagements, commitments, decisions and partnerships. We will also accelerate regional integration within ECOWAS and facilitate the emergence of a common currency within the shortest possible time.
I invite you to read our manifesto and share our message with all those who genuinely care about Nigeria. All Nigerians must join hands to actualize what is contained in this manifesto and hold us to account if we fail to achieve them. For us, this manifesto is our social contract with Nigeria. Please join us in a new party for a new Nigeria.

SOROFACT - SORO Congratulates Waheed Odusile
He is going to be a President like no other. He is going to work with a signed Bill known as Freedom Of Information Bill (FoI).
This Bill, sounds like a Pill. It is not easy to swallow.
Why? because he is now the custodian of that dangerous Bill, sorry, Pill.
His responsibility is more than that of our Honorables (Speaker) (President) in both Chambers of the National Assembly, his only limit, of course, is the sitting President who calls the words to order.
Will our own Odusile be a response to the change we seek? SORO FACTS will keep you posted.
SORODEY – Exclusive: MR INTEGRITY PMB, FACE GOVERNANCE!
The Ota Visit
Once upon a time, one
Ex-Military Head of State {EX-HOS) went to OTA Farm to consult his other
Ex-Militrary Head of State who also doubles as Ex-Presido. His mission was to seek
an Ex – support so that he too can become an Ex – Presido some-day.
The encounter was
hilarious as it was Exposing. Mr. Ex-HOS and Ex – Presido asked a simple
question;
“Mr Ex – Head of
State, in the handling of PTDF, is anything fishy in the Books?”
The Ex – Head of State
answered “Er. ..er… . Yes!”
Mr Ex-Presido, Ex-Head
of State, now asked specific question;
“How much did you sell
mosquito net? And why where you selling it N250 in some places and selling it
N400 in other places?”
There was no answers,
we dodged the question and the result is, we are living the foisted lies of a
supposed popularity on the subject of a stoic Who, instead of drumming up
solutions, we are BREWING problems and distractions.
Our problem as a
Nation is not the paper in our banks – our solutions cannot come from chasing
papers but on utilizing the human content. The earlier we stop chasing shadows
of INTEGRITY and get to the business of Governance, the better we will be on
our way to RECOVERY and set a road map for blocking identified leakages.
Let him who has not
sinned, be the first to cast stone, he who lives in a glass house should not
throw stone; do not throw stones into the market place for you know not who it
will hit. Integrity is not a name – it is pretense to cover all our shits. Integrity
like faith is an over-used terminology that man in his quest to outdo his
fellow man has risen it to a point of veneration.

Is this an end to the insurgence, "#BokoHaram"?
PMB borrowing to rebuild North East, Nigeria signals an end to the insurgence, my question is "hope everything necessary is fully put in place, for a scratched back with fire, will loom more danger?
I hold sway that PMB visit to PBO of America should begin to define the "#ChangeAgendaNigeria".
Defining #ChangeNigeria
Let us not forget in a hurry that the British former Prime Minister, Gordon Brown and others set aside ten thousand Dollars in a foundation money to save the schools in the same North-East?
Let us hope and exercise our patience as Nigerians, ready to redefine the course of this Great Nation.

Going The Extra Mile - Sydney Newton Bremer (motivation)
"If the swing goes forward it will come backward too."
-SINGHALESE PROVERB.
The law of Cause and Effect tells us that our reward in life will always be in exact proportion to our contributions
"Give and Ye shall receive." How simple the statement, yet how far-reaching the law! We need to note what was clearly implied in the words, that what we give to others, is given us in return, not only
Nature is evenly balanced. We cannot disturb the equilibrium, for we know that the law of Cause and Effect is the unerring and inexorable law of nature; but we do fail to find our own equilibrium as nations, and as individuals, because we have not yet learned that the same law works inexorably in human life and in society as in nature- that what we sow, we must inevitably reap.
Every act of our lives is like the living seed - it produces after its own kind. No man is so foolish as to think he can cheat nature. If he plants rice he does not expect to get potatoes; he knows that the Olive tree will not bear figs or the Rosebush yield wheat. And yet we all imagine that we are cunning enough to chest ourselves. We think we can act or speak in certain manner then go our way and forget it, as though it had never been. But every act of life, however trivial, remains like the seed to sprout and grow, and produce influences whose far-reaching effects can scarcely be dreamed.
As you perform your daily tasks, render more and better service than that for which you are paid. When the acts of going the Extra-Mile come back to you with compounded interest added, you will be glad you did.
Ps:
I first learned about the word "Engram" from Ron L. Hubbard's work on his "Church of Scientology" thesis.....

EXPERIENCE LAGOS
Our kudos to the former Governor Babatunde Fashola led administration in Lagos state, only with one most relevant and important project, the rail system with massive road expansion and a symbol of greatness. the LekkiIkoyi Bridge project. He is a man worthy of praise and role model to the change we seek.
Lagos, it was nice experiencing you again after three year. The place transformed and re-emerging with resounding worth. A true depiction of what transpired before the Change agenda presently led by President M. Buhari, who was quite reasonable to carry along the former Governor of Lagos state, Mr Babatunde Fashola to meet with the G7 Nations, acknowledging the worth and effort, Mr Fashola put in to engineer the 2015 Change agenda,
Lagos is absolutely redefined, indeed Mr Fashola, you are a Game Changer, deserving of a true worthy Nigerian Minister of works. Just my thought, don't know about you!
However, all work and no play, make SORO an idle persona. A
spoil at Maison Fahrenheit on a Friday night makes a difference and a bit
at tantalizer with Ikeja, completes a wholesome day well spent in the MegaCity of Lagos.
Experience Lagos today and relive the bountifulness of the MegaCity and Centre of Excellence.
Mr Babatunde Fashola, our true GameChanger for the month of July, 2015.
Get our REFINERIES working!
Reporting from Lagos, the import hub of petroleum products and marketing, fuel queues are back to the streets and stations with pump price rising from the 87 naira over the board to as much as 120 naira. One wonders what such will do to far cuties and town, who are hundreds of mile from the Lagos import spot.
Economic implications of Scarcity
it is said that when the elephants do battle, only and only the grasses and ground suffers the brunt. same it is when there's fuel scarcity in Nigeria, only the poor and average Nigerian bare the brunt and their hard earned money are taken from them.
Should our new administration run by PMB allow such hurt on the masses to continue? Will these oil market continue to hold Nigerian to ransom over a scam of oil subsidy? Do we not live among these scammers of our daily bread? and how do we as a collective Nation put an end to this menace?
These posed question have only but one solution - GET OUR REFINERIES WORKING, build more refineries and promote local refining with a standard. This is the way a CHANGE focus administration should proceed.
Good morning.

A BEGINNING ENTREPRENEURS NIGHTMARE - Sunny Obazu-Ojegbase
Continued...
How we got out of the financial mess that the government's decision brought upon us, is a story I'll probably tell you another day. But learn in the meantime the very important lesson that even when you know where to reach your customers before you launch a product, it is not a reason to believe that something cannot still go wrong.
If a method that pushes up your success rate by as much as 95% can leave you gasping for breath, then deliberately going into a market where you have no idea of who your customers are is nothing short of knowingly drinking acid and expecting it to refresh you like cold water.
That is by the way. Let's get back to the "Beginning Entrepreneur's Nightmare Zone" or BENZ as I will refer to it from henceforth. BENZ was decreed into existence in Genesis Chapter 8 verse 22. That is where God said, "while the earth remains, seedtime and harvest shall not cease. "
The All-knowing God, who created heaven and earth and everything in it, gave us an important key for succeeding in business here. Being our Creator (manufacturer), He knew we needed the key. But out of ignorance, we didn't find it early enough. That's why God said "my people are perish for lack of knowledge" (information).
Now, this important key in Genesis 8:22 brings to our attention the reason why we must have a seed and sow it at a right time and in a good soil. We satisfy this condition when we establish a business. What we are doing when we launch a new business, is sowing a seed at seedtime.
And as we are assured by this immutable law, seedtime will always be followed by harvest just as night follows day and winter is followed by summer. That means when you plant at seedtime (start a business), then harvest (profit-making) shall follow.
Problem arises, however, when we plant a new business and expect our harvest almost immediately, irrespective of the type of plant that we sowed. The answer to this puzzle is found, not in a business management school (they don't teach it there!) but at the farm. Yes, it is in the farm that you will discover the mystery of seedtime and harvest.
The farmer knows the secret. Years of planting and harvesting have taught him to know how this great mystery, which still confounds a Beginning Entrepreneur and makes him to suffer needlessly, works. Now, let's observe a farmer at work.
The knowledgeable farmer knows there is a particular time to clear the bush and plant the seed. The seedtime must be prepared for. Planting must be done in season. And each seed has the right condition or planting it. I learnt a bit of this myself when I was growing up and I followed my father to his farm at Osogbo. I watched him as he planted cassava, beans, corn, pepper and yam. Trouble was, I never connected what I observed my father doing at his farm to what I've to do when I went into business for myself. Oh, how I wish I made the connection!
So the farmer plants his seed. Although he knows that there's harvest to come, he doesn't go home and look for a cosy bed to lie on while waiting for that harvest. No. Rather he invests the time in-between to care for the seed he has planted, weeding the grass and, in case locust or other crop destroying insects invade his farm, using the right chemical to get rid of them.
This is what he continues to do until harvest time arrives. And he'll be rewarded for his care for the crop and his patience with a bountiful harvest.
A Start-up Entrepreneur is supposed to do the same thing. He should start his new business and continue to nurture it until it grows to the point of harvest. He must be as industrious and as patient as the farmer. If he's not, then he won't have a harvest.
Starting a business, for most Beginning Entrepreneurs, takes a lot out of them. Because capital is not easily available to take off, by the time a BE arrives at the marketplace, he's all stressed up as a result of all the efforts he had to make to raise the seed money.
This condition makes it extremely difficult for him to exercise the necessary patience before harvest arrives.
How then can any BE, who finds himself in. this condition, cope? We shall go right back to the farm to seek a solution. Let's go over to the next chapter as I show you what I learnt while I was almost grounded in the BENZ.
